AIDA Showcased at the Horizon Europe Conference in Oviedo

On 28 November 2024, AIDA was spotlighted at the 12th Horizon Europe Framework Programme Conference in Oviedo, Spain. Representing AIDA, Ana Miralles Marco, Project Manager of AIDA, participated in this prestigious event, presenting the project’s latest advancements in gastric cancer prevention.

Organised by CDTI Innovación – Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain, the European Commission, Agencia Sekuens, and the City Council of Oviedo, the conference served as a crucial platform for researchers, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the progress and impact of Horizon Europe-funded projects. At the event, Ana Miralles presented a poster on the AIDA project, showcasing its mission to enhance gastric cancer prevention using an AI-powered diagnostic assistant. This initiative aims to improve early detection and support clinical decision-making, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes.

As the EU’s flagship research and innovation funding programme, Horizon Europe is dedicated to tackling global challenges through scientific advancements and collaboration.
